This campaign, Rebecca Adams has achieved the level 4 Team GBR Exclusive Incentive: Avon Advanced Sales Leadership level. This means she has achieved a £150.00 advertising budget and a signed copy of A View From the Top

To become an Advanced Sales Leader with Avon, you must first have personal sales over the value of £220.00 every campaign (3 weeks).  Along with your personal Avon sales you need to recruit Avon Representatives into your team.  Once you have 15 active Avon Representatives on your team, 2 of those then need to become active Sales Leaders too.  Both Sales Leaders will need a minimum of 5 active Avon Representatives placing orders each campaign too.   Rebecca has done this in less than a year and we are so proud of her and her team.

What is Avon Sales Leadership?

Rebecca has been with Team GBR for just 15 campaigns.  And in her short time with the team she has achieved some amazing goals.

Here is what Rebecca has to say about her dreams and aspirations as an Independent sales leader with Avon.

"I am a mum of two living in Trowbridge and I love the freedom that Avon gives me.  I am at every school-run, sports day and parent evening.

The DSA UK, Direct Seller of the year award

 

The DSA UK have been doing these awards and events for many years and 2013 was no disappointment.

On arrival we were greeted by the crew of the DSA who worked swiftly and quickly to help and guide the attendees to the appropriate rooms.  The exhibits were amazing too, with friendly and helpful exhibitors who were keen to share their fantastic services and products that would help in all aspects of the Direct Selling Industry.

With the morning being filled with great guest speakers and updates from the UK DSA, I personally took lots of notes and great tips and ideas on how to improve my own personal direct selling business from both Simon Thompson and Dr Dorian Dugmore.

But, I have to say my most favorite guest speaker was Fraser Doherty

Fraser's story are what kids dream of.  And having a 15 year old myself with dreams as big as Frasers, I felt his story to be the one that hit home the most.  If you don't know anything about Fraser and his journey from his nan's kitchen making jam and selling it to his neighbours to supplying over 2000 shops and super markets; then you really must make time to go check him out and his amazing jams.

 

 

 

 

Direct Seller of the Year Award

The Direct seller of the year award is one of the most prestigious and anticipated awards of the event.  With over 400,000 direct sellers in the UK alone the Direct Seller of the year award has to be every distributors dream to achieve.  To become a finalist is an honor but to win this accolade is something I have always aspired to achieve one day.

So, with my company Avon, putting me forward and nominating me after 11 years of dedicated service to my team and my business I was astounded to be told I had got through to the final 3 and I was invited to the entire event for the awards ceremony and gala dinner.

The evening cocktails started at 7pm and the recognition and awards ceremony began at 7-30pm.  So with my fancy frock on and a glass of wine in my hand I stood nervously awaiting for my category to be announced.

With the Avon team around me I was so excited to be able to say I was part of this amazing global company.  Soon my name was called out and I was asked to join the stage with the other 2 finalists for the Direct Seller of the year award 2013.  I was nervous and excited to be on stage for the most anticipated award of the evening.  Within minutes the Golden Envelope was opened and the winner announced....

Once my name was called out as the winner, I have to say I had a feeling of overwhelming gratitude.  I often have to say to people and remind myself "I am just a house wife that has goals and aspirations like anyone else.  I am not extra ordinary in any way".  But, this award has given me even more determination and inspiration to continue to do what I have done since 2002 and shout from the roof tops about how wonderful the Direct Selling Industry really is.  The awards and recognition are all part of the journey, but my most treasured gifts from this industry is that of my own personal growth and being able to coach guide and develop others to go forward and achieve everything they have ever wanted within this amazing industry...

After 11 years in the direct selling industry and achieving many personal and work related goals I have to say that this one is one of the most memorable and I am humbled into being given this amazing accolade.  I love what I do, and I still wake up every morning knowing I have an amazing business opportunity to offer and I always say to myself every morning "Whose life can I help change for the better today".  I am lucky to be in one of the most amazing industries of all time.

The final word on widgets

I hope you agree Avon have gone above and beyond expectations towards supporting the Avon Representative.  Personally, after working with Avon since 2002 these widgets have to be one of my favourite tools of the trade.  They help me get a message out to the masses and help me develop my selling skills and over all sales.

Top tips when using your widgets

  1. Use them every day to promote yourself and your Avon business
  2. Start discussions and polls about your widgets within your social media groups and pages
  3. Send the widgets to your friends on email too

Avon Representatives are given a great start to their Avon business on the first day they join Avon.

New Smart Start for new starting representative from campaign 5 2013 up to campaign 16 2014

It is a great way to start your Avon business with Free samples, full sized products and stationery to help you build your business and your Avon income.

Achievement prizes will be available on orders at ( Higher Order Value of £150.00 or more (HOV) at every campaign from LOA1-6 with a prize also available at  Minimum Order Value of £80.00 (MOV) at LOA1.
