My 1st book Mum's The Word is a journey from 2002 to today on how I became an expert in the field of Network Marketing turning over £6 Million in 2010 with NO Qualifications, No Business background and 3 kids!
MLM and Network Marketing is an industry that simply is not championed enough and I for one am about to change that. If YOU want anything badly enough you will do what it takes to get it!
The industry of Direct Selling is one that opens up many opportunities for those of us that have families, responsibilities and even other jobs and commitments but want more from life.
So, my next book is about how Women especially can use their already ‘Tailored Skills’ to Build a huge Network and create an amazing new Life for themselves.

In my next book I will talk about how you can use ALL of them to create a huge empire within your very own network.
I often get asked “Can anyone do it?” but unfortunately no I don’t think anyone can. Let’s be honest, if anyone can do it then there would be thousands more women succeeding much faster than there are today.
Less than 5% of those people that take on the Network Marketing concept succeed in the Industry.
The 5% minority out there succeeding are made up mostly of men and not us women. I want to change that!
So no, not anyone can do it unless they have the mixture of skills I mentioned above.
You need to ask yourself if you think you are as determined as me. If you don’t think you are then don’t buy this book!
Not anyone has the skills to prioritize and organise a Business plan and be Motivated enough to see it through. Not anyone can see the Incentive of completing their goal and negotiate their way to the Top of their Network. I am going to give you the tools and inspiration to go ahead and dare to build the empire within this industry that you deserve. It won’t be easy (My Mum Says…Nothing worth having ever is!) but it will be here for you to take. So what are you waiting for?

Hello there

I have asked Ginny if it is ok to blog about her team newsletter and she has kindly said yes!

This morning I woke up to about 45 Emails from over the past 24 hours, and Ginny's was the most inspiring one I have had in a long time.

Ginny has been on my Avon team of Sales leaders for over a year and has steadily grown her team.  This campaign Ginny made her very 1st News Letter.  I have attached it for all to read and take a leaf out of Ginny's Book!

On October the 9th 2011,  I (Gail Reynolds) was invited to the BBC to talk about how I managed to, not only build a business for just £25.00 that's now worth £6 Million pound a year, but to also discuss how it is still growing in sales even with the recession in its 3rd year.  Despite all the 'Doom and Gloom' I have also managed to write a book about my business experiences that has enabled me to share with other women and mums in business today, the simple 'How to's' and given them a Working Woman's Forum that was launched with the new website www.mymumsays.co to go hand in hand with the 1st book Mum's The Word.

Confidence in a gift

If it could come gift wrapped I think confidence would be one of the greatest gifts you could give someone. I mean with confidence the world is really your oyster. There is not that nagging doubt of ‘what if’s’ because being confident would mean the ‘what if’s’ are well not important.

So, what are you scared of?

Are you scared of rejection from the other person? Are you too shy to try? Maybe it's just the fear of the unknown?

If the answer is yes to any of the questions above, then YOU are the fear NOT the prospect!

Remember:

This may be your business, but prospecting is not about you. 

Prospecting is about the product you are offering to the other person, and the opportunity you can give them with Avon cosmetics.

You're offering them a way to earn extra money or offering a fantastic product - it will be their loss if they say no.

Take yourself out of the equation!

Do you believe in the product / opportunity?

The key to prospecting is belief in what you are offering, whether it's a service, product, or business opportunity. As long as you believe, everything else falls into place.

Know your brand

If you don't know anything about Avon cosmetics, how are you going to sell the opportunity and the products? People buy off people and they like to know what they are getting. Believe in the product until there is no fear left

Always remember why you are prospecting and never think it's simply for you to grow a business and earn lots of money off them, they will see straight through you!

Keep these 2 key factors in mind

1. You are offering them a fantastic Product, service or opportunity to earn extra money

2. You are the example of why they should be doing it too!

  • NEVER try to convince someone - this is wasting your time when you could be out there finding someone who desperately loves the opportunity and / or the product!
  • NEVER think they are saying NO to you, they are saying NO to your offer.
  • ALWAYS focus on sharing your news in a positive way about the product service or opportunity to earn extra money

 Law of Averages

"Here’s one of the best philosophies Jim Rohn learned in network marketing.

It’s called the Law of Averages. If you do something often enough, a ratio will appear.

It’s amazing. It’s uncanny. In baseball we call it batting average. If you talk to people, one says yes. Now the ratio has begun--one out of ten. Talk to ten, get one. Here’s something interesting about the Law of Averages. Once it starts, it tends to continue.

If you talk to ten and get 1, sure enough chances are excellent if you talk to ten more, you’ll get another one. Talk to ten more, you’ll get another one.

Now you can compete. If you can only get one out of ten, you can compete even with someone who can get 9 out of ten. If you've been here a long time you can get 9 out of ten. I just joined and I can only get one out of ten. If we have a 30-day contest I will beat you.

He’ll say, “How can you beat me?”

“Here’s why. During that 30 days, you talk to ten and get nine. I talk to 100 and get ten. I beat you.”

And I do it for two reasons. I sincerely wish to win. But I do it for another very sincere reason. I wish for you to lose. And that’s noble on my part. Here’s why it’s noble. You learn more by losing than you do by winning. So I wish to give you that experience.Now, here’s how I do it, once I understand the Law of Averages. When I’m new, I make up in numbers what I lack in skill. Now, who can do that? Anybody’s that ambitious. Anybody with a little ingenuity.
