Campaign 4 2013 shows just how much Avon are investing into our business.
Double your money!
If you didn't already know, Avon put on an incentive for the Christmas campaigns (C17-C1) 2012. The incentive was simple, for every new Avon Representative you recruited (Over the first 5) you would receive £50.00 plus £10.00 for each new Avon Representative after that! Now in Campaign 5 Avon are doubling your money for your efforts made last year!.
How to double your Avon incentive money
This incentive runs from Campaign 17 2012 - Campaign 4 2013 (T/S Campaign 1 2013 - Campaign 6 2013) and is based on LOA1 and LOA 4-6 Representatives in your first generation.
*Generation one only
** MOV = Minimum Order Value of £78
n.b. No payments will be made for LOA 4 – 6 Representatives that are as a result of roll-ups.
Get five LOA1 Representatives* placing an order over MOV and you will receive £50.00 in total.
Part 2 – Campaign 4 2013 (T/S Campaign 6 2013)For every LOA 1 Representative* from part 1 who then goes on to place an order over MOV** at LOA 4 – 6 in C4 2013(T/S C6 2013) your money will double!
For example: Achieve part one with eight LOA 1 Representatives* placing an order over MOV** – earn £80, if four of those LOA 1 Representatives* go on to place an order over MOV** at LOA 4 – 6 in C4 2013 your earnings will increase to £120. However, if all eight of them go on to place an order over MOV** in C4 2013 your earnings will increase to £160! All payments will be made during the Campaign 5 2013 cycle and will therefore show on the Campaign 5 2013 Sales Leader statement - perfect for any post-Christmas bills and to help you make a strong start to the New Year!

Becoming and Avon Presidents Club member is about reaching as many Avon customers as you can every 3 weeks.
You show, sell and share the Avon brochure with everyone you know and meet.
You will be in the top 10% of all representatives in the UK and for your efforts not only do you earn the full 25% commissions you will also have access to other amazing offers.

What to do
This section is all about how to actually organise your get together – what to do, where to have it, who to invite and what you need to get ready. Go through this section so you feel thoroughly organised then you can think about the fun stuff!
Type of get together
There are many different types of get together and the beauty of it is, you can make it your own to suit you and your customers. A 'get together' can be anything including:
A few people having a morning coffee
A children's afternoon play date where the mums get together as well
Friends getting together for afternoon tea and cake
A girly night in for a pyjama party
A sophisticated evening with cocktails and canapes
The options really are endless. Basically, as long as you have products, brochures and order forms around, any time people gather together, it is technically a 'get together'!
Who should I invite?
This depends on the type of get together you are holding. There's everything you might need in theresources section in terms of games, ideas of things to do at your party but see the checklist below for a quick guide to what you physically need to have - it's not much - bet you have it all already!
In the resources section there is a form that allows you to map out everyone you want to invite so you can start working on your invite list now! Don't forget, if a customer is holding a get together for you, print one of these off for them too.
How do I invite people?
You could use any of the following methods but it totally depends what you prefer.
Get together invitations
Facebook
Text message or phone call
Email
Most people will be really excited at the prospect of some time to share beauty tips and try out products so don't be afraid to invite people.
There are lots of different get together invitations available in the resources section to suit whatever kind of get together you want to hold.
Things to remember
Always invite a few more people than your target number of guests. For example, if you hope to have 8 guests, invite 10 people because not everyone will be able to make it.
You could ask people to bring a friend. It can help people feel more relaxed if they don't all know each other and can mean extra orders for you.
Where to have it
You could hold a get together at your own home or in the home of a customer. There are benefits to both options.
Your home
Invite customers to build relationships - make them feel valued
Invite customers to bring a friend - new customers for you!
You might feel more comfortable on your own turf, especially to start with
A cuctomer's home
They will invite their friends and family - more customers for you!
They do a lot of the hard work for you
But, remember, you must look after your host. Offer support and the right tools to a customer who is holding a get together for you. It is also a good idea to give them something in return e.g. a free gift or a discount from their next order.

What do I need?

Variety of productsLetting people touch and try products is the essence of any get together no matter what style or size. If you don't have many products in stock then why not invest in a special pack to make sure you have great products to show people. See theresources section for details of the packs on offer.
BrochuresOnce they've bought one item, they are likely to buy more so make sure you have brochures on hand for them to browse and order forms to write down what they want.
Order forms
Drinks/nibbles (style depends on type of party)Everyone relaxes over a drink and something to eat whether it's a cup of coffee and a biscuit or a glass of wine and an indulgent pudding. You don't need to invest lots of time and money but the personal hospitable touch goes a long way.
SamplesSamples are great way to keep the guests thinking about Avon as they leave. They might try it, love it and add it straight to their order! Why not give them two and ask them to pass one to a friend? You might get an extra order.
Little things to remember
Tell everyone who has placed an order when you expect to deliver it
Swap contact details so you can keep in touch and continue to boost your orders in future
Why not put another sample in with the order to keep the customers excited and trying new products - there is a good chance they will go on to buy it next time!
Try out lots of products yourself before your party - if you can recommend with genuine experience, your guests will be more likely to buy

Brian and I did this many years ago with a recruitment advert that Avon used in the brochure and we recruited over 30 people that campaign. That was 30 x 20 brochures each, all going out to different customers everyday with our Advert in them! Needless to say we further recruited another 20 brand new Avon Representatives from the amazing offer Avon had set for the customers.
Think about what an amazing recruitment drive this could be for you and your team!
Image how many books you could get out there over the next 6 weeks with your contact details in them!
What are you waiting for! Get stickering!
NOTE: If you buy stickers from ebay, make sure that you buy the correct size. You only want little ones for the space that you have in the brochures! And do some looking because you can get some really good bargains on ebay!
Another option (that would work, just as good) is to design a leaflet that could go into the brochure. It is a little easier, but you cannot guarantee the New Avon Representative with remember or even want to use your leaflets in the brochure. But, if you don't have the option of stickers, this could work too!

POB the Personal Online Brochure - (as of 2016 this is now redundant)
ALL Avon Representatives that join Avon will be given a Unique URL for their very own Online Avon Brochure.
When you join GailsReps our experienced sales leaders will show you exactly how to use the POB and gain more sales through your social media platforms and via email.
The POB is as well as your Avon brochures and not instead of, which means you have another resource to earn more money with your new Avon business.
POB can be found on your 1st day of becoming an Avon representative by going to your personal Avon home page. Click the image that looks like this;
Note: Avon Sales leaders need to click the My Own Office tab and click the POB text at the bottom of the drop down box, and this is what will appear;
Below this image you will have all the details you need to follow through with using your POB with Avon.

3 easy steps to send POB to existing customers
Log into your Representative account
Click on POB's image (or follow above instructions if you are a sales leader)
Scroll down to Send out your Personal Online Brochure – click on 'select customers'
Choose the customers in your electronic Customer Address Book you wish to send the brochure to, or 'select all'.
The subject line of the e-mail is fixed and cannot be changed – "View my Avon Brochure online for the hottest trends and offers".
Add a message to accompany your Online Brochure – this may include order submit dates, delivery dates or any special offers you may want to draw your customers' attention to.
The Message allows up to 1000 characters and this allows you to make your email much more personal.
Send an email to your Avon POB customers
Start of the campaign
Announce the new campaign and drive excitement! Highlight key products, new launches, your brochure favorites or 'not to miss' offers.
Last chance to buy
Ideal to send towards the end of the campaign, particularly if there are sale items that won't appear again, or items that are a great price so customers may want to stock up. Remember to give an 'order by' date, allowing enough time to deal with any orders or queries they may have.
Not ordered yet
You can send a gentle reminder that your order date is approaching, offer alternative ways of contacting you such as calling or by text in case they have a query, or asking if they'd like to see a paper brochure again.
Receiving your POB orders
When you receive an order through your POB you will receive an email. You will be directed to view the order so simply follow the link provided. Once you are logged in go to the bottom of the home page. Here you will see you have a pending POB order, so you need to click the link. You now have an opportunity to accept or reject the order.
Before you do accept it click on the customers details to check they are within a distance you are happy to
deliver to. If the customer is simply too far away to deliver by hand, you can either reject or offer to send it in the post. (have payment upfront for postal orders) Rejecting the order moves it on to a closer representative.
Accepting the order automatically inputs it into your online order, you do not need to type in the product codes.
We recommend you print or hand write the order onto a regular order form so that when you receive the bulk delivery you can bag up the order as normal and staple the order form to the bag.
What could you include in the message
Product highlights:
Group your customers by which products they normally buy. This way you can select those who like a particular product set and highlight the offers that will appeal to them the most.
Representatives highlights:
Buying from a Representative suits busy people – it's free delivery and convenient straight to their front door! Adding a note about this can be a good way to remind the customer of this benefit.
Order by date:
This is important and helps manage your customers' expectations, particularly if you're going to be on holiday and will have limited access to the internet so may find it difficult to 'accept' order requests. Remember to build in enough time to process the orders and deal with any queries.

It is that time of the month again where we recognise Team GBR for their amazing efforts over the past 3 weeks.
Avon Campaign 17 2012 Achievers
I would like to begin our recognition with Pauline Walker. Pauline has been a part of Team GBR for just 2 campaigns (6 weeks) and in those 2 campaigns she has managed to achieve both Level 1 and Level 2 from the Team GBR exclusive incentives.
